Luke’s Cafe on the Quad is a busy place the rest of the year, but when winter hits slow nights are a regular thing.
“It’s hard because most of the students on campus are in the library studying and we are located in a remote area of campus,” said Rachael Bangerter, a barista at Luke’s.
With it being so cold at night, most of their customers are in the morning.
“We don’t like to brag but we’ve been told we have the best coffee on campus,” said Jake Rohbock, a worker at Luke’s.
Professors, especially from the English department, make up a large percentage of Luke's morning customers.
