Even Stevens partnering up with CAPSA

Even Stevens will be partnering with local non profit organizations to bring fresh quality food to people in need. Even Stevens will be opening on Main Street this spring.
“Logan is a great town and we thought it needed a good sandwich shop like this one,” said Sara Day, the director of community engagement at Even Stevens.
Even Stevens is partnering up with local organizations to bring fresh food to those in need. For every sandwich that is bought, one is donated to a local non profit organization. More than 8,000 sandwiches were donated last year in Even Stevens locations across Utah.
Partnering with Even Stevens is Cache Community Food Pantry, CAPSA and Cache Valley Senior Center to bring this cause to Logan.
Even Stevens partners makes the sandwiches when needed. Sandwiches are always delivered fresh. Non profit organizations choose from 11 different products made with ham, turkey, tuna and peanut butter and are ordered to exact numbers.
“Partnering with Even Stevens we will be able to increase our awareness in the community and the services we offer,” said James Boyd, the CAPSA director of development.
Last year CAPSA housed 280 men, women and children who had been impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. Partnering with Even Stevens will bring good quality food to the shelter for these people.

“We are grateful for them and we are excited to have them here in Cache Valley and in Logan,” Boyd said.
