Logan Burgers and Sandwiches increase in business

Since moving to the Cache Valley Mall Food Court 10 months ago, Logan Burgers and Sandwiches has increased in business, but hasn’t changed their menu. Being in the food court with the all the windows has made Manju Oberoi, owner of Logan Burgers and Sandwiches, very happy. Mall shoppers, employees, USU students and locals are just a few of their customers. Some come from as far as Ogden and Pocatello. Regular customers go to the mall specifically for Logan Burgers and Sandwiches.
“The food is always fresh and the staff by now know me,” said Nolan Cullimore, a regular at Logan Burgers for more than 9 years.
Logan Burgers and Sandwiches has been using the same recipes for the food since they started 9 years ago and don’t intend to change that.
“We never compromise with our quality. That is what people come for,” said Oberoi.
There isn’t advertising for Logan Burgers and Sandwiches, but that doesn’t stop the word of mouth from spreading.
Cullimore said he keeps coming back because he likes the way they prepare their food.
“We have a very unique burger that one else has in town,” said Oberoi.

Even Stevens partnering up with CAPSA

Even Stevens will be partnering with local non profit organizations to bring fresh quality food to people in need. Even Stevens will be opening on Main Street this spring.
“Logan is a great town and we thought it needed a good sandwich shop like this one,” said Sara Day, the director of community engagement at Even Stevens.
Even Stevens is partnering up with local organizations to bring fresh food to those in need. For every sandwich that is bought, one is donated to a local non profit organization. More than 8,000 sandwiches were donated last year in Even Stevens locations across Utah.
Partnering with Even Stevens is Cache Community Food Pantry, CAPSA and Cache Valley Senior Center to bring this cause to Logan.
Even Stevens partners makes the sandwiches when needed. Sandwiches are always delivered fresh. Non profit organizations choose from 11 different products made with ham, turkey, tuna and peanut butter and are ordered to exact numbers.
“Partnering with Even Stevens we will be able to increase our awareness in the community and the services we offer,” said James Boyd, the CAPSA director of development.
Last year CAPSA housed 280 men, women and children who had been impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. Partnering with Even Stevens will bring good quality food to the shelter for these people.

“We are grateful for them and we are excited to have them here in Cache Valley and in Logan,” Boyd said.
